Pir of Bhitshah Syed Nazan Sain, Syed Khawar Ali Shah s/o Dargah Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, SSP Matiari Manzoor Ali Khatiyan, all Revenue Officers, district officers of different governments and TMOs of the district of District Matiari attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Matiari Shahid Zaffar Leghari said that foolproof security measures were essentially needed as the foreign delegates were scheduled to attend the second International Adabi Conference in addition to hundreds of thousands of devotees coming to pay homage to Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai at Bhitshah.
He asked SSP Matiari to prepare contingency plan and also to ensure latest equipments including Bomb Disposal Squad to meet any eventuality of security threat. He directed the officers to establish control rooms each by District Police Matiari and District Revenue Officers to put strict vigilance over the proceedings for round the clock.
The Deputy Commissioner Matiari directed the District Health Officers to declare emergency at all three Taluka hospitals and Rural Health Centre Bhitshah, and also to arrange mobile medical teams equipped with necessary doctors, paramedics and all necessary life saving drugs during the event. He also directed them to manage health stalls/camps for blood bank and anti-hepatitis B & C vaccination and free blood screening centres, and for conducting anti-malaria spray in Bhitshah Town.
He also directed TMA administration to ensure cleanliness, illumination from National Highway to Dargah, establishment of Sabeels and fire brigade in ready position. He asked the Reverence Officers to remain in contact with the management of private banks and franchise companies for their collaboration in display of the verses of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai on the main roads.
He also directed the officers of Auqaf Department for repair & renovation of Dargah of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, and asked Irrigation officers and Forest Department for filling the Karar Lake and maintaining green belts from National Highway to Allah Walla Chowk respectively.
